 Employees Larry Crulo and Billie O'Neal man a booth at the Monroe County Fair. Rogers employees constructed the log cabin playhouse and donated it to a silent auction fundraiser for Bloomington Hospital.

Brownstown Elementary School builds a rock garden from RGI limestone.
Rogers Group sponsored 8 local teachers to attend the Indiana Mineral Aggregates school.
Three seniors from Bloomington High School South are completing a 16 week internship at Rogers Group in a program called the Franklin Initiative. This is an Area 10 School-to-Career initiative aimed at providing work-based and school-based learning opportunities and career exploration to students in Monroe Co. and Richland/Bean Blossom Schools. It supplies job information and knowledge about needed competencies; brings business people to classrooms; provides internships for area students; and creates a link between what is learned in the classroom and how that skill is used at work.
The wrestling team at Bloomington High School South are training on a piece of equipment purchased from a Rogers Group donation.

Lawrence County Asphalt and Sieboldt Quarry participated in the annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica, to raise funds to help prevent birth defects. Owen Valley helped the American Cancer Society in another walk-a-thon.
Rogers Group hosted a picnic and a tour for the Historical Society.
RGI hosted "Rock The Quarry", the fourth annual open house and festival in August 1998. About 1,500 of our neighbors came to visit, eat and have fun with us!
Central Indiana was named as the Friends of the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce Award recipient in 1997.
Lawrence County Asphalt and Sieboldt Quarry recently participated in the annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica. The Walk is held to raise funds to help prevent birth defects. Owen Valley helped the American Cancer Society in another walk-a-thon.
Rogers Group employees built and donated a playhouse cabin for Bloomington Hospital Foundation to raise funds for wheelchair transportation.
Central Indiana employees were active contributors in Rogers Group's United Way campaign, featuring a unique Bowl-A-Thon and many other events. RGI assists fundraising efforts of other local community charities such as Boy & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers, Junior Achievement and Leukemia Society.
Sieboldt Quarry allows local organizations use its employee recreation area free of charge, including a shelter house, picnic tables, barbecue grills, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, baseball diamond and basketball court.
Owen Valley donated time and materials to assist Little League Baseball at the Spencer Community Baseball Complex.
Morgan County hosted a fishing tournament to raise money for a local charity, Helping Hands.
Rogers Group helped the Boy Scouts with their golf fundraiser and erosion control project at the Boy Scout Camp.
